Steve Meredith Music

As the Managing Partner for Steve Meredith Music and MeWe Productions, Steve Meredith has produced and performed for dozens of hours of recorded and live performance events for a wide range of commercial and educational clients. 

A gifted vocal performer, Dr. Meredith has been much sought-after for his excellence in classical concert literature. He has performed to wide acclaim as a soloist with orchestras throughout the US, Canada, and Europe, and is one of a small handful of people to have performed as both a soloist and conductor with the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.  

In addition to his career as a concert performer, he has enjoyed considerable success as a studio singer, arranger/composer, and producer. He has performed in and produced recordings for numerous feature films (Samuel Goldwyn, PBS, Lifetime, Hallmark, Great American Family), audio books (Harlequin, Signature Books), regional and national advertisements (ABC Sports, Classic Reruns TV, ROKU), production libraries (EMH Classical, Warner Chappell, Amphibious Zoo), and dozens of videos, albums, television programs and theatrical events. He also has extensive success as a voice over artist. He is the “Voice of the Thunderbirds” for athletic events at Southern Utah University, and works regularly throughout the US as a member of the team at Voice Talent International.

As a conductor, his choirs are in demand professionally, having performed on film and TV soundtracks and participating as a part of numerous national tours, including Video Games Live, Star Wars Live, Sarah Brightman, and three concert tours with Josh Groban. He is currently the Music Director for “Christmas a la Vivaldi,” and the vocal group Conforzá.

Recently retired from his "day job," Dr. Meredith spent 35+ years in higher education, with a career that was remarkably varied and innovative. He was an award-winning music faculty member and senior administrator. He established new associate, bachelor, and master's degrees in music, fine arts, and technology. He has built and run a number of technology labs and a full-fledged TV station. He received his B.M. and M.M. degrees from the University of Utah in choral music education, and his D.M.A. in choral music from Arizona State University.
